Sexuality: ...Bisexual, I guess? According to AU Johan, anyway.

Appearance: Ranges from handsome to gorgeous depending on the
particular moment you catch him in. Rumpled and spontaneous, if you take
spontaneous to mean uncombed, given his wild mop of chocolate-orange hair,
even wilder and more unkempt now that he has fused with Yubel. His red
school blazer is back, long-sleeved and with a high collar and trimmed
with a darker shade of red in various places. The tail of the blazer now
flares out much more than before, in the fashion of a trenchcoat, except
it is waist-length instead. Underneath, he wears a dark gray shirt that
has now sprouted a slightly higher collar on his neck. Usually his eyes
are a soft brown, but they can change to match the color of Yubel's eyes
(orange on the left, green on the right) or Haou's (gold in both eyes).
But he remains overall a handsome, coltish 18-year old of now
above-average height and breathtaking looks.


Personality: Open and honest, rarely anything less than perfectly
cheerful, Juudai makes friends almost automatically; people are just drawn
to his laughing good nature and relentless charisma, and few can really
resist this pull. He is fiercely protective of those people he cares
about, always looking out for them. He acts much more serious now than he
did in the past, and it would seem his utterly carefree nature has been
reduced dramatically (although not entirely). Because of this, he
occasionally has problems loosening up and having just plain fun with
others, particularly in duels. Most of the time, however, he remains a
more mature version of the old Juudai, now able to handle problems with
more efficiency and far less emotional hurt than the younger version of
Juudai would've been able to do. He's unswervingly loyal and dedicated to
his cause, and sometimes seems more like a force of nature than a mere
human... but this is, of course, because of the powers that lurk inside
him. He is able to place trust in others to the extent where he gives them
ample chances, but is not overly naive -- this doesn't, however, mean he
is so stable that he's unable to be taken advantage of for his relatively
good nature. As a whole, though, many of his old insecurities and flaws
have been patched up, and quite a few of his better traits strengthened as
a result of the fusion.

Abilities/Strengths: Juudai is one of, if not the resident godboy
of Yuugiou GX, and being the incarnation of right darkness as well as
fused with a powerful Duel Monster only amplifies this insane skill. He
has dueling -- and perhaps now physical battling -- ability pouring out of
his ears. He has unrivaled talent, and it's anybody's guess where that
talent ends. Especially as Haou, where his powers have not yet been seen
at their full capacity, or even begun to have been documented... he could
probably do anything he felt like doing if he used his powers the right
way. With his newfound powers as a result of Yubel becoming a part of his
soul, he can summon Duel Monsters into this plane of existence for long
periods of time, and has gained inhumanly fast reflexes and other such
physical adroitness.

Weaknesses: Juudai has become very difficult to exploit since the
augmentation to his already incredible Haou power by Yubel. Physically,
while he's rather superhuman in nature and in reflexes, he is nowhere near
invincible, and although he can conjure up energy shields and such, they
are certainly not impenetrable. Were he to face off against a powerful
enemy, it's entirely possible for him to be taken by surprise or caught
off guard. Emotionally, it may take quite a few tactful blows to get
Juudai to weaken at all due to his newfound comfort with his own existence
and sense of self, but when he does, he becomes much easier to handle,
particularly when he's hit where it hurts the most -- his friends. If any
of his friends are threatened or put into immediate danger, his emotions
begin to run higher, and he can grow fairly desperate to save them if put
into a bind, since they are the ones he's sworn to protect with his
powers.

Notable Possessions: His deck, containing the Elemental Heroes and
the Neo Spacians, as well as his duel disk, I suppose.


History:Since Juudai's first incarnation as an ancient prince, Haou
has existed within him, a power of darkness able to combat the Light of
Destruction, an evil force existing in the outer reaches of the universe
that strives to destroy it. He was eventually reborn in a second form,
Yuuki Juudai, a young boy living in Domino Prefecture. Skipping ahead,
once he turned 15, he was sent to Duel Academia, where he spent three
years in high school. However, something happened during the third year.

The Academia was transported to a desert world by Yubel, an obsessive,
jealous Duel Monster from Juudai's past who came back to be with him
again. During the duel with Yubel to transport the Academia back to its
rightful place, Johan, one of Juudai's best friends, stepped in and
finished the duel with his Rainbow Dragon, opening the portal to send the
school back home. When they return to their proper dimension, the students
find that Johan is among the missing. So Juudai, determined to retrieve
his friend, approaches the remains of the weakened portal and, with his
friends' eventual help, opens it and goes to the Dark World to rescue
Johan.

When in the Dark World, they find a desperate situation, in which the
residents are being held under a reign of terror. Juudai begins to take on
the minions of the Dark World; Scarr and Zure are the first two to fall.
However, he rushes ahead of his friends in an uncharacteristic act, and
they are kidnapped by Goldd and Sillva, followers of the Mad King of Dark
World. Juudai reaches the stronghold where Brron, the Mad King, is waiting
for him, and they duel. In the meantime, after Zure's death, small spheres
of light with a kanji inside them symbolizing a negative emotion attach
themselves to Juudai's friends when they are captured by Goldd and Sillva.
They wake up after being knocked unconscious by them in the stronghold in
shackles. Manjoume is the first to wake up, and he begins to tell Juudai
what he really feels, influenced by his representative emotion (rage) --
that Juudai is an idiot because he didn't accept help from his friends,
and that they were all fools for trusting him.

He is then killed, bursting into particles of light, and appears in the
Sacred Scriptures of Wickedness that Brron had summoned, revealing that
he'd had this all planned from the beginning. The more negative emotions
from his friends, the stronger the power of the sacrifices, and the sooner
the blank card of Brron's will be awakened. If Juudai attacks, his friends
will disappear, but if he loses the duel, he will be the one to die.
Cornered, he stops attacking and simply switches to defense. The rest of
his friends vanish on Brron's next turn, expressing their dismay on how
they were betrayed by Juudai, and his plan begins to take shape. He
dramatically lowers Juudai's life points and basically backs him against a
wall...

...But then his eyes turn a golden color, and he starts to become less and
less in control of his own negative emotions. He resolves to defeat Brron
and his monsters, but knows that even if he destroys them, he still won't
calm down. He does finally defeat Brron and is taunted by him one last
time, being reminded that he is exhibiting the negative emotions that were
represented by his friends, when Shou, Jim, and O'Brien show up. He tells
Shou how good it is to see him, his last friend alive, when Shou expresses
his doubt about that, and tells him that he's only been dueling for his
own satisfaction, acting by himself and being misunderstood from the very
beginning. They all leave him, disappointed to no end with him.

Inside his mind, Juudai is surrounded suddenly by blank cards with
pictures of those sacrificed for the birth of the blank card Brron was
trying to revive, Super Fusion. A shadowy figure behind him tells him he
should take down opposing spirits and put their souls into the card to
complete it. He introduces himself to Juudai as Haou ("Supreme King"), and
says he is the one who rules the Dark World. He takes over Juudai's
consciousness, forcing him into the back of his mind to contemplate
himself as Haou does as he pleases.

UPDATE 7/30: Arriving in Econtra as Haou, and completely out of his
right mind after having killed his friends, effectively of his own
volition, and taking on a new persona to handle the unexpected pain and
anguish, Juudai at first was not amiable to the new surroundings. He
starts off in a duel with OU Marufuji Ryou, who winds up lying to him
about his future. He finds out through OU Yubel and completely brainwashes
him as his own servant, much to the disappointment -- and moreover, total
rage -- of all his friends.

OU Yubel eventually gets an idea and decides to ambush Haou while outside,
stealing Super Fusion from him and leaving him injured in the process. She
works on a way to complete it from this point on, but it is a while yet
until she succeeds.

OU Johan soon arrives in Econtra, which flings Haou into a whole new cycle
of turmoil once again. As for Ryou, it takes about a month and a good,
control-shaking duel, but he is eventually freed, and Haou is rather
discontent with this development, although he does not show it, and
remains quiet for a while. A month after that, he loses his grip again
after realizing he has accidentally betrayed OU Johan in a way with the
arrival of AU Johan, who took advantage of his mental state in a
non-malicious way to make love to him... while only a few days before
that, Juudai had "led on" OU Johan, as he put it, in a very similar way.
He flees to the Park, where OU Johan finds him; they eventually make
amends and head back to the room. Soon after, since he's not willing to
choose one over the other, Juudai, who is now just about done being Haou
for good, suggests they engage in a threesome relationship, "sharing"
Juudai in a way. And so they agree, and it happens, surprisingly enough.

It takes quite a while for Juudai to re-build his confidence, but
gradually, he does so, with the help of his friends. At first, he is
miserable, but with a bit of a verbal slap to the face from OU Misawa and
OU Ryou, and later, some unexpected control training from AU Mio, he perks
up significantly and regains his old spirit, as well as a new control over
his Haou power. The words he'd been continually hearing that never really
clicked with him before finally made sense to him.

About two months later, after being attacked recklessly by his new
alternate, AU Juudai, OU Yubel takes action after a long time of
inactivity, finally finding a way to complete Super Fusion, and setting
the stage for her plan -- to fuse together both Econtra's universe and the
twelve dimensions of her own universe in an effort to both escape Econtra
and create a world for only Juudai and herself at the same time. She takes
many of Juudai's closest friends or those who have an emotional connection
to him hostage, so as to lure Juudai down, and their last duel begins.
Basically, it is a reenactment of the duel that happened in GX canon
during episodes 153-155. The end result is that Yubel almost does
succeed... until Juudai activates a trap to change the target of Super
Fusion from the two worlds and twelve dimensions to his own soul and hers.
Her mind is purged of the Light of Destruction that had been plaguing it
ever since she had arrived here, and even long before that, and she
finally understands Juudai's thinking, accepting the chance to fight
alongside him and be with him forever in this way.

...And their future together is still unfolding within Econtra.
